Injection molding of ZnAl alloy parts

Injection molding machines are specialized machines used to produce parts by injecting metal alloys under pressure. At GOMET, we have state-of-the-art ZnAl injection molding machines that allow us to produce high-quality zinc-aluminum alloy parts.

Metal injection molding technology

Metal injection molding is a process in which molten alloy is injected under high pressure into a precision steel mold. After solidification, we get a finished piece with a complex shape and smooth surface, often requiring no additional processing.

Our ZnAl injection molding machines can produce parts with very high surface quality and accurate dimensions, making them ideal for applications requiring precision.

Materials used in the injection molding process

In our ZnAl injection molding machines, we primarily process:

Zinc alloys

– high liquid fluidity
– excellent surface quality of castings
– possibility of obtaining thin walls
– corrosion resistance

Aluminum alloys

– lightweight while maintaining strength
– good thermal conductivity
– weather resistant
– recyclable

Injection molding process at GOMET

The entire injection molding process in our company follows a proven procedure:

Preparation of the mold – precise setting and checking the tightness of the steel mold;
Metal melting – controlled heating of the alloy to an optimal temperature;
injection molding – the introduction of molten metal under pressure into a mold;
cooling – controlled cooling for optimal casting properties;
Punching – taking out the finished part and removing the lint;
Quality control – checking dimensions and surface quality;
